This huge wristwatch is inscribed on the bottom Jacob & Co & the number 123. We acquired it at an IWJG show from a member of IWJG and substantial Brazilian watch plus jewelry dealer with offices also in Miami, FL. He had acquired it from a top and extremely sucessful Brazilian soccer player. Since the reverse chronograph dial was Black...the Black diamonds were added the matching Black diamonds.
Jacob & Co diamond bezel with fifty two diamonds on bezel top with two additional rows on the side. Four timezones are shows in Red with diamonds covering the remainder of the dial. Hands depict the fifth timezone, has the date indicator too! Reverse is Jacob designer dial in Black with three register chronograph, date indicator, large White numerals & for the sixth timezone plus a Red sweep second hand. Reverse bezel has 52 Black diamonds on top with one additional row on the side. The chronograph movement is a 22 jewel Swiss ETA quartz movement.

7,969 OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches were produced for the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11. Offical time,in red on the dial, that Apollo 11 landing craft touched down and a special version of the mission patch has been placed within the sub-dial. This Apollo 11 mission had Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin making their first moon walks. It was Aldrin not Armstrong who wore this men's watch on the moon’s surface. Armstrong may have been first down the ladder, but he left his OMEGA on the landing craft as a backup timing device in case of computer failure while Aldrin wore his OMEGA under his suit during their 150 minute moonwalk.
NASA chose the OMEGA Speedmaster Professional for its toughness and elapsed timekeeping abilities. During the early years of the Apollo program, NASA went in search of a wristwatch that could not only withstand the extreme temperatures and vibrations of space flight, but one that could also serve as a backup for the astronauts in the event of equipment failure, allowing them to calculate thruster burns as well as speed and distance. NASA endured congressional hearings over their choice of a Swiss watch, and while the Apollo 11 mission was successful, the OMEGA proved its worth during the Apollo 13 mission when the command module experienced an onboard explosion, lost power and the crew was forced to drift around the moon and return to earth. Their OMEGA’s were the only functioning instruments on board for three very long days.

During the 20's, Watchmaker Hans Gilomen established ONSA as a family company in Lengnau, in the Swiss canton of Bern. The product range included valuable gold watches, chronographs, biorhythm watches, alarm wristwatches and pocket watches. In 1943, Hans-Jörg joins the parental company after completing a watchmaker apprenticeship. Together, father and son transform ONSA into an internationally recognised brand. In 1949, ONSA established a footing in motor racing, and proceeds to donate prizes for the Berne Grand Prix for many years. In 1957, two ONSA 'Automatic Waterproof' watches survive the legendary Atlantic crossing by the 'Mayflower II'. One watch was attached to the ship’s rudder, while the other braved the wind and rain at the top of the mast. In the same year, ONSA also conquered the skies, as all the pilots of the Belgian airline Sabena were equipped with ONSA watches.

Rolex 18k Pink Gold Tudor Oyster Prince Reference 7909 With Automatic Rolex Movement - Mint! A Collectible For Sure From The 1950's!This wristwatch has a significant exception to the normal Tudor movements utilized for the Rolex Tudor wristwatches! This fantastic Pink Gold Tudor has the Rolex developed Caliber 390 automatic movement engineered by Rolex during the early 1950's. Most of the earlier Tudors were created from less expensive movements purchased from Ebauches S.A. and then ETA. An exception was this "Rotor-Prince" Rolex Caliber 390 developed by Rolex around 1950. This is a rugged automatic movement with it's central rotor winding in both directions. The Rolex 1030 movement is similar and it was developed during this same period...including the shape of the rotors, it has the hlaltese spring to stop the rotor, and the sprung discs of the twin click wheels like those of the older Rolex Perpetual movements. The Rolex Caliber 390 movement has a diameter of 28.5 mm by 6.25 mm thick and is automatic with 17 jewels.
Dial, case and movement are signed. Crown is the Rolex+! Diameter is 33mm x 11mm thick and serial is 104,199 with a screw back. Again, THIS 1950's Rolex Tudor Automatic is EXTREMELY RARE and COLLECTIBLE!

Wyler Geneve's incredible Dakar wristwatch has a unique shock-absorbing case, in which the movement is sealed in a titanium container that is held in place in a carbon-fibre resin frame. The upper and lower plates are then fixed to this construction on sprung titanium screws, leaving the movement suspended inside. DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating on the titanium screws and stainless-steel crown protector and chronograph pushers give the watch a stealthy look, with sand-coloured detailing for the applied minute track, applied Arabic numerals, individually applied letters of the Wyler name and the chronograph counters offering a subtle contrast with the Black case and dial.
